New episodes of the hit series for kids, tweens and families – “Hannah Montana,” “Sonny With a Chance,” “The Suite Life On Deck” and “Wizards of Waverly Place” – will air Friday, May 1-Sunday, May 3.
In the premiere episode of “JONAS,” entitled “Wrong Song,” Nick Lucas writes a love song for a girl he’s just met — fellow student and aspiring singer Penny — despite warnings from Kevin and Joe that he’s moving too fast with this brand new crush. Then the brothers attend Penny’s first gig, where she sings the love song to another boy. Meanwhile aspiring fashion designer Stella tries to invent high-performance, tearproof clothing for her friends to wear on stage. Bridgit Mendler guest stars as Penny.
The series is set in the Lucas’ unique New Jersey home (a converted fire station equipped with technical gadgets on Jonas Street, the inspiration for their band’s name), where the three rockers live with their parents, Tom and Sandy, and little brother Frankie. When not on tour, they attend Horace Mantis Academy with their childhood friend and fashionista Stella Malone. She helps keep the brothers grounded while making sure they always look their best, re-styling her own and their school uniforms on a daily basis. Her best friend and the school’s star athlete, Macy Misa, proclaims to be the #1 JONAS fan.
The main title theme song is “Live to Party,” written and recorded by Jonas Brothers.

Jonas and Cyrus Siblings to Team Up for Miyazaki Movie
Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas aren’t the only Cyrus and Jonas family members working together on new projects these days. Noah Cyrus, Miley’s 9-year-old little sister, and Frankie Jonas, 8, better known as the Bonus Jonas, are voice actors in the animated flick, “Ponyo,” by “Spirited Away” director Hayao Miyazaki.
“I actually have a movie coming out call ‘Ponyo,’ ” Noah told the Press Association about the movie. “I play a goldfish in it, and I wanna be a human in it, and my best friend is a human, and I think that’s where I get it from, and then I turn into a human. The guy who plays my best friend in it is Frankie Jonas, the Jonas Brothers’ little brother.”
“Ponyo,” which was released as “Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea” in Japan last July, will be released stateside on August 14, according to Slashfilm.com.
Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Cloris Leachman, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin and Betty White have also been cast to do voices in the film. According to Slashfilm, Disney hopes to make the American release of “Ponyo” Miyazaki’s “biggest hit ever Stateside.” “Spirited Away” earned more than $10 million dollars stateside.

Miley and Jonas Brothers Team Up for Disney's Version "We Are The World"
E! News has learned that Miley Cyrus is set to reteam with her ex-flame (and Mouse House coworker) Nick Jonas as part of an all-star recording session for a song called “Pass It On”—a track an inside source calls “Disney’s version of ‘We Are the World.’ It’s about kindness and passing it on.”
Fellow Jonases Joe and Kevin are also among those on board for the track, which is being recorded later this week. The tune was penned by Adam Anders and Nikki Hassman, who wrote Cyrus’ Hannah Montana hit “Hoedown Throwdown.”
Cyrus, the JoBros and other Disney musicmakers will shoot the “Pass It On” video on Saturday.
As for those tabloid reports of a simmering feud between Miley and Nick?
“We don’t hate each other,” Cyrus told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest today. “We really love each other. He’s really cool, and I’m happy we’ve been able to stay friends.
“Everyone thinks that me and the Jonas Brothers have this big feud going on, and me and Nick are really close friends now. We talk all the time and he’s one of my best friends.”

"Frankie's My Favorite Brother!"
Jonas Brothers rock out at Radio Disney studios on Friday afternoon (March 27) in Burbank, Calif.
Nick, Joe and Kevin plus lil’ bro Frankie caught up with JJJ at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday and found out exactly who Frankie’s favorite brother was (at the time). Check it out:
Frankie on his love for Comic Con: “Comic Con is probably the coolest thing ever. It’s where every kid dresses up as their favorite superhero. I might be going as Flash or Iron Man. I might [wear spandex].”
Frankie on his favorite Jonas Brother: “Nick.” (Joe added, “It changes every day.”)
Nick on writing a song for Menudo: “It’s called “My Own Way”, and it’s actually on Honor Society’s record. I wrote it with P.J. Bianco and it was up in the air for a lot of different artists to do it, but it really felt right for Honor Society. It turned out great.”
Joe on his latest klutz moment: “We just had a photo shoot and I’m pretty sure, I fell into a swing a lot when we weren’t shooting.”

ATTENTION! THIS JUST IN - PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE TOUR!
We just got confirmation and a press release from Disney Enterprises and the Jonas Group. The boys have decided to postpone their tour from the summer to the winter. To quote - “They want to tour the world in the winter, they decided to move up Camp Rock 2 to film in the summer for better weather in Canada”. The boys, who looked saddened through the press conference said that they are still looking forward to seeing the fans this winter 2009 through the beginning of 2010. Instead of starting in the United States, however, they are going to be starting in Europe and working their way back home just in enough time to start shooting their second season of their anticipated TV Show JONAS.
Says Kevin Jonas “We are really sad about doing this to our fans, but we will be sending a new package of tickets for the new dates.” The new dates, to be released in a few weeks will be much more solid and the boys vow to stay on track with them. Adds Nick Jonas, “We love you all, and we WILL be there to see you”.
LoL. April Fools Guys. Geez, do you seriously think that would seriously happen? Just kidding guys, I would cry for hours if that acutually happened. APRIL FOOLSSSSS!!!!!!
The Jonas Brothers Are Taking Over The World!!!!
In case you hadn’t noticed, American tweens have a thing for the Jonas Brothers. Need proof of their devotion? This past weekend fans snatched up over 800,000 North American tickets.
Arena shows are now sold out in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Houston, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, New Orleans and Atlanta. Fans that didn’t snag tickets in Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Vancouver lucked out because second dates in those cities were immediately added.
The dates are a part of “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009″ which features Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas performing on stages across three continents. The tour is being presented by Burger King and produced by Live Nation.
“Ticket sales for this tour have been phenomenal,” Jason Garner, Chief Executive Officer of Global Music for Live Nation, said in a statement. “The band has already sold out arena dates in 13 major cities, including Madrid, London and Paris, and with additional dates going on sale in Mexico and South America and Europe in April, it’s clear to us that Jonas Brothers are a true global touring powerhouse.”
After a couple shows in the Bahamas, the tour kicks off at the Arena Monterrey in Mexico, May 17. The Jonas Brothers will tour Latin America for six shows, including stops in Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina.
Demi Lovato, star of the Disney Channel original movie “Camp Rock,” and the television series “Sonny With A Chance,” will open all Latin American shows.
Then in June it’s off to Europe for a few dates.
The North American leg of the tour kicks off at New Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, June 20 and concludes with a show at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario, August 31.
American Idol winner and 19 Entertainment/Jive Records’ platinum-selling artist Jordin Sparks and rising stars Honor Society will be along for the fun as special guests.
The Jonas Brothers won’t have much time to chill because it’s back to Europe in October and November. Dates include shows in Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Denmark and Belgium.
This weekend the guys revealed a sneak peek of their new 140-foot plus stage on the Jonas Brothers’ YouTube channel. The stage will be centered in the arena to allow fans to get up close and personal with the band. The show will feature a circular water screen, multi-color laser effects, motion automated video screens and a giant crane that levitates over the audience.
The Jonas Brothers’ newest album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, is set for release June 15.
