Taylor/Joe Situation
Yes, I know. I am really trying to avoid putting this up (and so late too.), but this really has to be posted. I didn't really want to get into their personal lives and relationships. The boys put this on their MySpace quite a while ago:
It is our normal rule to avoid talking about our private lives. It seems that it has come to the point where we must address a few things. We would prefer to address these things and then leave it alone from that point forward.
We felt like it was important to respond because recent events have affected our fans. It is important to us as artists and brothers to enlighten regarding this situation. Our fans are the most important thing to us.
There are rumors and suggestions that are being publicized in the press right now about us. Like all people our age we are trying to find someone special that we can share time with in our busy lives. We all have busy schedules and high demands. We love our life and are thankful for all that we have. We are simply stating that it is difficult to maintain relationships with the kind of life we live.
We love our fans and it is important to us to protect that relationship.
This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart…
I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response.
I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth.
Hope this helps enlighten a little.
We love you and miss you
Joe, Kevin and Nick

Who has crazier fans? The Jonas Brothers or Rob Pattison?

Rolling Stone coined Twilight heart throb Robert Pattinson “The Jonas Vampire” on the 2008 Hot List, and after attending events for each at one of New York’s Apple stores earlier this year we only felt it appropriate to take a look at how the two biggest teen fandoms of the year stack up. Plus, be sure to check out the expanded interview with Twilight’s dreamiest vampire — who says “There’s only so much adoration you can take” — below.
In August we hit up a Jonas Brothers mini-concert the same day their sophomore album hit stores and less than 24 hours after the trio wrapped up three sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden. In November we sat in on a Q&A with Pattinson and Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke less than two weeks before the flick hit theaters. Here’s how we fared:
LEVEL OF MAYHEM
Jonas Brothers: The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show
Robert Pattinson: Leonardo DiCaprio circa Titanic
FAN DEDICATION
Jonas: Though the event was supposed to be announced the morning of, fans camped out the night before to secure a spot inside. It seemed for every fan crowded around the stage inside at showtime there was another left waiting outside on the narrow NYC street, and hysteria errupted afterwards when the brothers pulled away.
Pattinson: No one camped out, but fans lined up in the wee hours of the cold November morning to snag a wristband — and waited patiently in the brisk temperature afterwards for Pattinson to leave.
LIFE-FEARING MOMENT
Jonas: The crowd began bouncing and dancing en masse as soon as the brother struck their first note — and when the enthusiasm hit fever pitch, the floor started shaking.
Pattinson: A particularly intrepid tween fan used her chance to ask a question as a plea for Pattinson to bite her neck.
SUPERFAN MOMENT
Jonas: As loud as the band was, they could barely top the volume of the jampacked crowd singing every word, “ooh” and “ah” at the top of their lungs.
Pattinson: It didn’t matter that most fans couldn’t hear him (thanks to a combination of his low speaking voice and the hordes of “I love you!” and “Take off your hat!” requests); they answered questions for him anyway.
AW-SHUCKS MOMENT
Jonas: Nick Jonas’ “I survived diabetes” spiel during “A Little Bit Longer”
Pattinson: The many ways he jokingly compared himself to Edward, which earned squeals of delight from the crowd (despite repeated pleas by the event moderator and director Catherine Hardwicke to “be cool”, the audience errupted in cheers every chance they could).
PARENTAL REACTION
Jonas: Parents (including Harry Connick, Jr.) had earplugs in place and cameras in hand to capture the moment for their daughters.
Pattinson: Twimoms (so nicknamed for being independently obsessed with the series, regardless of whether or not they have children) were in full effect, with T-shirts professing their love,
FUTURE PREDICTION
With the Jonas Brothers set to release another album next year and the next Twilight movie headed into production, the squeals and shrieks have a healthy lifespan ahead of them.

KEVIN IS NOT LEAVING!!!!!!
Responding to a report in Star magazine, the Jonas Brothers took to their MySpace page to insist that Kevin is not setting out on his own to record a solo album of “mature music.”
At the end of a long post about their “amazing two weeks,” they wrote, “There is a rumor that one of us is leaving [the] group. Not true. We love what we are doing and hope to do it together for a long time.”
Now that they’ve cleared that up, they can go about being properly excited for their Best New Artist Grammy nomination.
“When you start in a band as an artist you say, ‘One day, I’ll be nominated for a Grammy.’ It happened, and we’re just so honored,” Nick Jonas told MTV News at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday. “As young guys, we know that this is a privilege, and we do appreciate that. We’re grateful.”
On their MySpace page, they revealed how they celebrated the nomination. “Our heads are still spinning since the announcement,” they wrote. “We are fans of all the other artists that are nominated in our category. It really is an honor. The crew from our TV series ['J.O.N.A.S.'] even threw us a party the following day congratulating us on the nomination.”
They also revealed that they’re hard at work on their TV show. “We are working hard every day on our new TV show, ‘J.O.N.A.S.,’ and can’t wait for you to see it,” they said. “But it was exciting to get back out there and be in front of our fans and friends again. We miss and love you so much.”

Who Will Be the Sexiest Group of 2008?
From music to TV to movies, hot guys are one of the many reasons we keep coming back to our guilty pleasures for more. As the Jonas Brothers continued to rise to stardom this year, the original boy band New Kids on the Block made their triumphant return. The Gossip boys and the cast of High School Musical stayed cute but had to make way for the guys of 90210 and Twilight. There were old favorites and newcomers, but tell us — who is the sexiest group of 2008?
The Gossip Boys — I wish there had been guys this hot at my high school.
NKOTB — Reunited and looking better than ever!
Twilight Boys — Vampires and werewolves never looked so good.
HSM 3 Guys — They’ve really grown up over the years.
Vote for the Jonas Brothers and take poll here!!

Jonas Brothers: Top List of Celebrity Charity Draws
NEW YORK (AP) — Want to raise money for a good cause? Recruit the Jonas Brothers.
The sibling sensations top Charity Folks’ list of the 10 hottest celebrity draws on the online charity-auction Web site.
The brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick raised $450,000 in an online charity auction by charityfolks.com, which arranged VIP tickets and meet-and-greets in exchange for donations to the band’s Change for the Children Foundation.
Billy Joel is second on the Charity Folks list with $400,000 earned from a private New York concert. Bruce Springsteen came in third with $300,000, followed by Morgan Freeman, Howard Stern sidekick Robin Quivers and the cast of “The Sopranos.”

The JB Celebrate Grammy Nomination with Football and Pinkberry
Many artists honored with a Grammy Award nomination might celebrate at a celeb-filled Hollywood club, but Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas plan to rejoice in their musical milestone with a rousing game of flag football and some Pinkberry.
Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson caught up with The Jonas Brothers at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards nominations Wednesday night in Los Angeles, where the middle Jonas brother, Joe, said they were surprised to be nominated for Best New Artist.
“Wow! [We] really didn’t expect it at all,” Joe told Shaun.
And how will the siblings celebrate the good news?
“We really like football. So, possibly a nice flag football game with some of our friends,” youngest brother Nick said.
Nick added that they had just enjoyed a good game the previous night and were still recovering from all the action.
“I went to catch the ball and it just hit my finger. It was kind of lame…wasn’t even like a good play or anything,” Nick noted.
Joe, on the other hand, had a lower impact celebration plan in mind.
“Maybe some Pinkberry,” Joe told Shaun, who has yet to try the popular and much-celeb-beloved frozen treat. “It’s like having ice-cream, but afterwards you don’t feel like, ‘Oh, I just had a bunch of ice cream.’ You feel like, ‘All right, I feel good.’”
As for the popular frozen treat store, they would love to have the Jonas Brothers stop by.
“We’re super excited that they love Pinkberry!” Ron Graves, Pinkberry CEO, told AccessHollywood.com. “Please tell them to come by and celebrate at one of our stores!”
But before the brothers get out on the field or decide between original, green tea or pomegranate Pinkberry, they said the first thing they planned to do is call their mom.
